happy 2007 everyone!

omg! 1 year is about to leave us...!! kowaii! resolutions undone and wishes unfulfilled. what does that leave us with? more resolutions for the new year!! shucks. and we need way more determination to carry them out for sure.

whatever it is, nobody can be as eager as me for 2006 to be history.. of course there're stuff i fondly look back on but in general, sucky year in all aspects of my lifee. yucks.

now, i just want to pig out my new year and exercise more in the new year! yay!

new year...gathering time..

ha..check this tree out. adrian showed me this website with this tree called bottle tree.. so corny. but quite cute hors. it's in sembawang.. dunno which part also.

met up with bec, zhen and adrian at TCC today. adrian was a last minute addition to the gathering and it was really cool coz haven't seen him err..since god knows when..2 years ago? wow. he's in NIE now and we'll be fellow senseis..hah.. teaching art in secondary school! lucky guy.. i'm actually very keen in art but too bad, me no talent and no qualifications..;(

was good to see becca lam as well.. long time no seee and miss chean who wowed me with her dunno how many inches prada shoes and she actually managed to trod in the pradas down crowded orchard road with us for a good 5-6 hours! 3 kowtows to her!

hereby, i bestow upon her the title of The walking devil who wears prada.

apparently she's quite into those euro high end fashion brands like Karan Milan and BCBG (or BC BZ BCBQ? forgot le)...so for the 1st time in my whole life, i stepped into the shops and plough the shelves for clothes that would cost less than 500 bucks (before discount).. nai..zenzen nai yo! super difficult to find! tried on this Karen Milan kimono red dress which was so so pretty and suitable for CNY...after 55% discount, $234. so imagine..the original price was around $800... pukes. bec kept goading me on telling me it looked really nice on me... and ya..i did really like it quite a bit. but i exercised commendable self control this time. kudos to natsuri san!

some of the dresses were really really beautiful!! but they cost like $900 bucks!! beautiful price too.. haiz.. if only i have more okane!! i need to earn at least $4K to support this kind of spending lor... and i shall wait very very patiently for that day. -_-ll

i promised i'll blog about the ice earl vanilla drink in Coffee Club.

without a choice, babu and maria helped me order ice earl vanilla. so 3 ice earl vanilla please. they said it's super dupa oishii.. ok lor.

1st try..weird. trying very hard to keep my enthusiasm to complain at bay, i gave it a second sip. omg! it tasted like baygon! ya..got an insecticide taste...really.. 3rd sip, 4th sip... onaji desu.

but it's high class baygon coz inside even got a scoop of sinful vanilla ice cream. hmm..it doesn't taste that bad really...maybe it's earl grey tea's taste.. but one thing for sure, it tasted baygon-ish. but well, i finished everything anyway, but i don't think i'll order that again. should have made maria paid for my drink can! both babu and maria didn't think it has the baygon taste at all and was really enjoying themselves.. err.. good for them. -_-

can someone go and order it one day and let me know if it taste like baygon? i'm really curious coz i don't think my taste bud is spoilt lor. but the pasta and mudpie was good though.. god.. i need to jog 10 rounds...haha.

visited lehlio buddy in SGH yesterday and bumped into buddy TAN and e-line! ward 45 was an ICU ward so upon reaching there, i got a little shock and thought i'll be seeing him for the last time or something. i pressed on the auto door several times but it couldn't open and a lady gestured me to approach the counter for help. think she scared i'll spoil the door lor.

after checking, lehlio buddy wasn't in ICU la..he was in one of the rooms on the ICU level. chey! haha.. he complained that everyone who visited seemed disappointed that he wasn't in ICU..haha..

zhe was admitted yesterday coz she had to do a biopsy for her kidney..some inflammation thingy. hope it's not serious.. praying hard for her lo. worse part is that she gotta hold her breath during the surgery...meaning... she can't be put on G.A.. omg.. imagine the pain!! doc warned her it'll be painful.. i mean imagine...jabbing a sharp UFO into your body when you're perfectly conscious is insanely sadistic.. but what to do.

visited her today and can tell that she was glad her biopsy is going to be postponed till tomorrow. ganbatte zhe san!

natsuri san!! you better stop all your wu liao downloads... if not, your comp would crash..and your life would be thrown into darkness just like a lost ship without the guidance of the lighthouse...

downloaded this MSN content plus program and i totally learnt my lesson. no matter how bored and itchy finger, i shall never attempt to ruin my comp in this way..ever again.

installing it was fine..but after finding it super useless, i uninstalled it through the usual add/remove programs method. but it didn't work coz they have like pop ups every 15 sec asking me register and buy the products. if i cancel the pop up, they'll auto-close my MSN! dam! *&%^$$#@@.. what gives them the right to close my msn leh?!

the pop ups were so frequent that i can't do anything on my comp in peace. lucky for the wonderful internet, i found a forum where millions of victims posted the solution for this disgusting program. have to restart the comp in safe mode and remove some hidden programs...blah blah.. shit lor.

from being stuck till wallowing in grief at my stupidity till when i finally solved the problem, it took me like a good half a day..where it could have been better spent.

okie..besides this shittified encounter, it was good fun eating suki with zhe and sharon san yesterday. food was good and loads of catching up made the session more valuable. discussing the highs and lows of 2006.. no fun, they all guessed my high lows!!! haha... too predictable natsuri san... ganbatte!

Caught Death Note 2 yesterday.. sequel was as exciting as the 1st. it was like 2 and a half hours lor..almost as long as Titanic. hah. but it was good.. why isn't it surprising. heh. guess a good storyline and casting makes magic.

I was super pissed with my mum for being so indecisive in ikea that day buying something. so pissed that I suddenly saw myself in her.. !

kowaii... so all my friends must be bloody pissed with me for my indecisiveness when choosing what color watch to buy, what main course to order, what flavour of freeze I feel like drinking today... blah. but basically, i've got this thing about colors. if all T-shirts come in only 1 color, that'll probably solve this problem..zenzen. if they die die gotta come in 2 colors, one of the colors must be either yellow or red... coz i hate these 2 colors. heh.

i'm similar to my mama san in many ways in fact..character wise. just that i really hope i can cook half as well as her.. that'll be 饭-tastic lo. since i'm always lazy to go out buy food, then i can always cook at home. oh wait.. means i gotta buy ingredients to cook and...cook! okay..no point.

the board came crashing down...

went gelek in the new Ikea and Courts with my mama san yesterday.. i dunno where all the human beings come from..scary. doesn't look like a weekday afternoon at all.. everybody seemed like they don't need to hatarakimasu..

suddenly remembered that as I was ironing the other day, our ironing board was bending precariously towards gravitational direction. so.. reminded my mum that we need to get a new ironing board in all seriousness... but mama san just dissed me off saying the ones in ikea are of bad quality, b;ah blah.. which i don't really agree.

so i was proven right. the ironing board crashed today. drove out in the heavy rain just to get the board so that the auntie can continue with her ironing. urgh. sticky and wet.. yucks.

Quite a funny sight to see all the gals chiong into MangO digging at the piles of clothes.. as if there's no tomorrow... while the guys just stood outside the shop in a neat row, trying very hard not to look at all associated with the shop in any way. Some with babies in prams, some young ah bengs and some others who already had numerous shopping bags hung on them.

人是自相矛盾的。

假期没到，超期盼。现在到了，便埋怨没事做。因为朋友们都在上班！好闷啊。。

纪念品分配好了，房间整理了，部落格更新到不能再新了，silkpro卖了，杂志买齐了也读完了，现在该做什么呢？？！哈哈。已经茅起了疯狂购物的念头了！shit。我的皮包在抗议了。

其实还有学校的东西必须做啦，但没有心情。已经看到临时抱佛脚的我了。。唉！

算一算。。时日也不多了。过三个星期当校门一开，便是我的死期。

现在还是别想那么多。能吃就吃，能睡就尽量睡。

i fOund u.

happened to bring along a sample bottle of SilkPro facial cleanser for my trip coz it's small and compact. but little did I expect to be able to find a cleanser that doubles up so well as a makeup remover as well!

really miraculous lor.. been playing around with mascara and eyeliners recently..sollie ah..senseis are too free now. heh. yup..so it was really cool when I realised that it totally removed the mascara without a trace while just casually washing my face.

even the fancl cleansing oil also not as nice to use.. very oily and cause temporary blindness when the oil gets into my eyes.

Did I mention i was collecting my printer? ya..actually a friend helped me buy it during the sitex fair. saved 50 bucks. supposed to meet him to collect today..and guess what. he forgot to bring the printer! omg. he's forgetful i always knew..just that i didn't think he would be able to miss such a huge printer.

it was a weird day. i felt weird. things went weird. interactions were weird. i want to know why i felt weird.

2 - 8 Dec 2006- Japan Trip..Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Yokohama, Tokyo

yeah..too many things to cover on my trip liaoz.....how to post! haha..

okie.. it was overall fun! visited loads of places..imagine..we never stayed in the same hotel for more than 1 day lor. I took like 700 pics..wahhaha. of course I'm not developing all..just need a little more time to sift out.. hehe.

Apparently winter is late this year and so we get to see the autumn's scenery! yokatta ne~ 1st time seeing a mixture of beautiful yellow, red, orange greenery.. breathtaking.

Highlights of the trip:

1) Mount Fuji! sugoi yo...though it was cold at 0 deg, risking fingers kena bitten off by the cold, i still managed to take loads of pics of Fuji san... pretty!

2) The Ramen Museum! I ate the nicest and also oiliest ramen i've ever eaten in all my 25 years of life. 好幸福唷... ^_^ stall number 4... yummy.

3) Visiting DisneyLand for the first time. I was really like in another land..so fairytale-like. Definitely a must-see if you haven't been. I enjoyed but wasn't thrilled coz I don't watch Disney cartoons. haha. Plus, the weather was so cold, the wind was strong and everywhere were Qs....Qs...and more Qs. I hyperventilated for a minute when the guide said we have till 6pm in Disneyland. It was only 9am.

4) Japanese food. I love Nihon ryori! katsu don.. ramen..tempura..udon.. soba.. red bean..green tea...mOchis...

Things I liked about Japan:
1) super dupa polite sales staff! ichiban!

2) the ichiban toilets!
i actually look forward to going to their toilets..heh..check out whether they got newer spray functions and sanitizers to make your toilet experience an unforgettable one..their toilets smell dam good. when the tour guide warns us that that particular toilet is verrry dirty, it is actually 10 times better than singapore toilet.

3) Mount fuji! ...kirei desu ne.

4) the language! .. it's still a mysterious language to me.. somehow, some way.. i thought i knew how to speak it.. till i was taken aback at the counter when the cashier rattled a string of some words which i totally wakaranai..and could only nod my head and "hai!"

5) innovative stuff japs come up with. little clever and yet pretty- to- look- at inventions to make work and life easier..for housewives..kids....students..babies...

Things I don't like about japan:

1) The young girls there slap on too much make up.. gimme the feeling that they're not what i'm seeing.

2) The shops there closes too early!.. 8pm...hayaku desu ne.

3) Their infatuation with Hello Kitty and Disneyland. but then again, if i'm born in japan, maybe i'll love kitty also. besides being cute, hello kitty is like a symbol of good luck for the japs.

4) Japanese culture in general. as per the tour guide, she said that japanese men hang out till late at night after work before going home so that it seems they've got alot of entertainment to do aka they're doing well at work. poor wives. lame chop lor.

5) I don't find the hot spring fascinating.. tried once and that's it. didn't cure my stiff neck also leh.

30 November 2006..where the focus wasn't on food

Attended school's 10th Anniversary gala dinner yesterday night at Changi Village Meridian Hotel... food was not very palatable.. bland and taste weird. period. the cold dish combination had this octopus thingy where the octopus and jellyfish were super huge, thick and slimy..not pleasing to the eye and taste buds. actually good for me also since my dress wasn't the stretchable sort...

the most popular corner was this photo corner that resembles a mini studio for staff to take pics by our school's photographer. they'll immediately print out the pics for us...quite cool la.. it's like an unspoken culture..everyone in this school love taking pics..including moi. heh.

since nothing to gush about the food, let's enjoy the pics!

must read her " birth story" post.. felt so touched by the arduous process she went through and can't imagine the immense pain..so much pain that she was just numbed to it already. omg.

for me, i think babies are too cute.. if i ever get the chance, i'll definitely want kids.. just to pinch them, smell them(i'm addicted to the bb powder smell), dress them up like those cool babies in baby oshkosh and guess ads...haha. let's not talk about when they become older...

sighz..come to think of it, just piercing my ears, injections (or looking at people taking injections... -_-ll) can make me faint lor..till now, i still dunno if it's psychological or what..coz i'm not really scared but somehow i will feel faint. can't imagine the number of jabs i'd have to go through. kowaii!! but good also i guess, i'll just sleep through the jabs.

reduce happiness to the simplest form

As I sat looking across the stretch of sea separating the mall and sentosa, my mind was busy admiring the illuminated shore opposite, fingers busy setting up the tripod to the correct angle and happily triggering.

But the next day, what sent me to a state of ecstacy the night before had vaporised..I felt horrible and upset.

Many such bouts of extreme happiness and moodiness had came and left.

It suddenly gripped me that perhaps I wasn't happy afterall. yup.. I used the word "gripped" coz it's really scary. I had lived my weeks thinking I had moved on and believing I was happy. My friends run the risk of finding out that it wasn't the real me they're seeing.

Everyone asked if I'm excited about my jap trip.. I had to actually pause and think for 3 seconds before squeezing out "..okay lor". never thought that defining happiness was one of my weakness.

vlv0 t0ur and "photoshoot" with a 15cm tall tripod

Visited Vivo for the 1st time yesterday and i concluded the wh0le w0rld must have been in vivocity.

first, saw tanana in pull and bear.
~question: is it pronounced as "pull" as in push or pull, or pronounced as "pall". i think it's pall and bear but for whatever reason it's spelt as "pull".

then saw my bro after the movie.. i'm sure there were more friends somewhere in the mall. ya..but i wasn't that impressed with the mall la. it didn't seem that big as what the ads kept regurgitating. the restaurants weren't that fantastic as well. alot of weird names which i've never heard before.

tried "superdogs" but their hotdogs were alright only. and quite ex lor for fast food. i'm perfectly fine with the ikea hotdogs..yummy. more mustard!

watched "happy feet". was not bad..the little punky penguins were the cutest! their accent was so hilarious. one minus point was that the cinema seats were too upright which makes them uncomfortable for movie watching. should slouch more like those in cathay ma.

thought the best part of the day was doing a photo shoot at the balcony of the mall. brought along my tiny weeny tripod that came free with my old cam and amazingly it could actually fit my digi cam. thanks to it that i managed to take such pretty night shots.

yup..since i mentioned pull and bear... i love their clothes! therefoRE, it's impossiboru i'll walk out empty handed.. heh...

i like this starry top! nice and most importantly, it's loong..

contemplated dam long whether to get this hoodified top..really like it alot coz of it's length..very unique.. decided to get it on the valid excuse to prepare for the cold weather in Nihon.^_^v

a boy came knocking at my door at about 10 plus selling those potong ice-cream. you know those traditional red bean sticks ice-cream? didn't want to buy initially but gave in when he said he got 4 siblings at home and he's selling ice-cream to help with family expenses...

see him quite poor thing coz he was perspiring like mad and he sounded quite ernest. bought some from him and he urged me to put them into the fridge fast coz they were ALL melting.. to be exact, they already melted. so melted that i couldn't even tell the shape liao..

hope he wasn't abusing my empathy.hrmph.

bonsai banzai

my okasan has recently befriended a 'botanist" at her workplace. so she has been bringing home all kinds of plants and kept bugging my otosan to buy soil and more pots to plant them.


yup. so my otosan was just nagging about it, saying that he's not so free to upkeep a garden unless he's retired and got nothing better to do.

come to think of it. it's true lor. when i walk to the MRT, i'll pass by this flat unit at the ground floor and i see this ah pek snipping the leaves of bonsai and keeping a little orchard consisting of sunflowers, papaya trees, promegranate plant and a small banana tree. being enthuz about plants myself, i once tried to snap a few pics using my handphone cam until i caught sight of the ah pek looking at me suspiciously.
anyway, some pics of the recent additions to my corridor garden.. okie.. they don't look like anything.. yet. i can't tell what species they are and they better be nice lor after all the effort.

oh. and check out my precious cactus which has grown quite a bit except it has been growing a bit in the wrong direction. ya..so that explains the chopsticks and rifle..

what an irony.. thought i'll have all the time in the world once school closes for holidays. like real lor. haven't had time to blog at all except post a few lyrics and pics here and there.

i spend even more time in school now.. from 9 to 5 or 6pm.. wait. before you aim your eggs at me, on normal school days, we're officially off at 1.30pm. of coz we stay back most of the time to do marking and CCA, other stuff. Now, I face the comp the whole day, preparing stuff for 2007. yess. my eyes are dying. have even stopped wearing my contacts to school.

on top of that, I'm also in charge of Civics and Moral Education Program， more commonly known as <好公民>...which seemed eons ago. yup..according to miss serin gabrielle lee aka maria, i'm in charge of something EONS ago.. so rude hor..I think I need to give her some lessons on CME! grrr.

Step up

caught the movie "step up" over the weekend with lehlio buddy. it was surprisingly good entertainment despite the bad reviews. very funny show and of coz not to mention there's hot Channing Tatum to gush about. ^_^ Jenna Dewan was good too.. half the time I was in awe at how good she looked in those nice stylo dance costumes.

Another plus thing on saturday was that I got to drink my Ultimate Hazelnut Frap in TCC! love it..ate potato wedges with cheese dip.. i was complaining to lehlio buddy how the swimming I did in the morning had just gone down the drain.. canal.. long kang.

talking about swimming. yes. not used to sleeping much nowadays so ended up fetching my mum to work at 7am..and went swimming at 8am. omg! amazing feat natsuri san. concluded that saturday morning is lousy for swimming..no matter how early (well, I thought I was early enough to avoid the crowd) packed with pyjamas-fied kiddos. urgh.

splurge of the week. again!! i gotta stop. a dress for my school's annual dinner. not very ex but it's spendthrift enough for a person preparing to go for a trip. I can't help it. can someone help me? been psychoing myself that I can wear the dress for chinese new year as well. so i'm NOT going to buy any new clothes for CNY.

last day of school.

it's the last day of school.. these 2 weeks finally crawled by..or rather, the last month went past too slowly. there's something wrong with the speed of rotation of the sun around the earth.. armageddon!

not yet. I dunno why but I'm quite sure once holidays set in, the speed would be back to normal again and go 10x faster than it should be.

many things happened in the past month.. lots of new things I experienced in school like exams, conducting oral, conducting after exam activities, promotion exercise.. blah. hiccups in my family and personal life which I'm still finding time to adapt and accept. thoughts still pretty disorganised. urghz. at least i figured out that i think i'd continue to teach Chinese and not switch to PE.. yes. i decided. finally.

by right, time should fly! since I'm so pre-occupied.. ya la.. but by left, it didn't.

talking about redang with my colleagues now... i feel like going again lor. beautiful place.

Been having real nightmares recently. dreamt of Miss "C" (my school's admin staff in charge of assigning relief teaching duties) who came up to me and dumped me a whole ton of reliefing to do.Ended up with no breaks in between class at all.. horrorz. I'm her "fave" relief teacher I think...dunno why always, itsumo, dio relief. quite tiring.

true enough. the next day i had 1 whole day of reliefing. nan de! so xie2.

then, dreamt of someone who was close to me trying to hurt me.. i was running away but he caught up soon after and I could only keep shouting 'no....'... but no one could hear. can't remember exactly what though. but it was so real that i had to pinch myself to check.

Reflections 2006 by my pupils..check it out!

Came up with a brilliant idea to occupy my class. gave each one a piece of paper and they are to write on the Topic: My Reflections on 2006.. gave them a few guidelines on how to write it and to my surprise, they weren't complaining about doing it. I expected alot of groanings.. I thought they'd rather play UNO cards and "S.t.r.e.s.s" than to do this lor. but they were actually quite onz about it. hahz

2 possible reasons: 1, they're sick of playing their card games (they've been playing the same games for 2 whole weeks already!). 2, they're seriously reflecting since most have gotten their results already, except for the P6s.

compiled their reflections and thought that some were really quite sincere and funny. some drew to decorate the paper and realised that boys are more artistically inclined in drawing..observed across P1-P6.

Suddenly recalled the scene in my P1 class on Friday.

I played the movie "Beauty and The Beast" for them to watch and their reactions were so cute and amusing. They clapped and cheered when they saw how Gaston (bad guy, beauty's suitor) was beaten up by the animated candles, clock and teacups in beast's castle. haha. and when they showed beauty and beast kissing at the last part, they did their usual "eeeeeee.." and when the show ended with happily ever after kinds ending, they all did a sitting (coz i dun allow them to stand..haha) ovation and cheered in chorus.."yay...!"

kawaii! hehe.

Just now, I printed some cartoon character coloring sheets for them to color and they seemed to really enjoy it. projected some of the nicely colored ones for all to view and you should have seen the smirk on their faces.. super proud of their work. of coz, there're some who totally blushed when I complimented them on their coloring. cute!

One of them came up to me and told me that he enjoyed the coloring and thought it was very fun. kawaii!! ^_^

wahahah. okie la Miss Chew, don't get so easily pacified by their lies! As I mentioned previously in my blog, we often choose to be deceived. If it makes my day, why not?heh.

reached the train station yesterday and noticed that the eyes of the whole platform (okie..almost) of people were glued to the same direction..quite amazing. i thought it was an ad about a new movie or something..

it was some ad about a suspicious person on the train carrying a heavy black bag...how we should react and warnings about a possible terroist attack. cheh.. it's interesting la coz they made it quite drama-like so it's as if watching a channel 8 drama serial.. the only difference is it's actually more watchable than channel 8's serial.

but i think they should choose a slightly more pleasant-looking lady for the ad. her teeth really cannot make it.. i mean ads are still ads. Ultimately they need to be pleasing to the eye.

In conclusion, amidst the complaints, this ad is still better than channel 8's dramas.

Project Superstars is back! heh. the contestants are hilarious this time. hope they can sing well. i love to watch singing competitions!yeah.. more please!

Made a detour yesterday after shopping just to go J8 to buy subway.. the guy was surprised I ordered Spicy Italian coz he said no one really ordered it before. wahah. so I'm the first and I'll be the 2nd and probably the 3rd...so on. then today, after a boring 2007 Civics and Moral Ed talk at Chongfu Primary (in Yishun btw), supposed to alight at AMK but proceeded to Bishan instead to buy a sub then return back to AMK to take bus. the guy recognised me already..hah.. asked whether is it I haven't had enough of sub yesterday. My answer was..yess! of coz.. was tempted to buy 2 subs actually but afraid it would be too much..wished my stomach was expandable!

strictly speaking, it's not TGIF for me yet. there's P1 orientation in school tomorrow. I scratched my head coz I don't remember my P1 orientation at all.. I don't think it even existed lo or is it only my parents were orientated.. shira nai yo.

amended vanity affair~

I enjoyed a day of stardom today entertaining all my pupils' comments about my hair..okie.not much of comments.. mostly were stuff like "zhou laoshi! you cut your hair ah?" errr..duh. isn't it obvious?? just nodded and smiled awkwardly..

can't understand why they can't say more constructive stuff like.. "your new hairstyle is very nice leh!" it would make it easier for me to respond right... like i'd say," thank you! see you later!"

well...I'll forgive and forget since they're just primary kids.haha.

males and females really see beauty differently. all the female teachers said my haircut was nice.. only 1 very frank male colleague told me that my long hair looks nicer. this is another comment which I don't really welcome also coz it's awkward for me to respond to that..urghh.. no EQ! haha. I dunno about the rest of the other male teachers la.. dunno them well also so they better not say anything..ahem. that's high EQ.

finally finished up my "when rules turn loose". cried the whole of the last episode when the father died. finished up the last box of tissue in the house. okie. don't think anyone is very interested. fine.

will be going evelyn's wedding alone coz someone by the name of sharon san fly me aeroplane to go to her ah ma's birthday dinner!!! hrmph. hate it when I told her 3 weeks in advance and she totally chuck this piece of info right out of her brain into the dustbin. she's my 2nd hope coz the original person eve invited is not eligible liao =( ... and then..she has to fly me aeroplane!

don't like sitting alone at wedding dinners.. ~Lonely...I'm so lonely..I have nobody.. To call my own.. ~

eve had arranged for me to sit with engkiong. eve's friend but got to know him through ktv sessions with eve. he's super pro nihon go. and i can expect a wonderful evening trying to think of how to answer him in jap. he's great in jap but he's... crazy!

Vanity Affair!

The school booked the whole of PS GV hall 4 for us to watch a movie. We were kept in suspense till just before the show. guess the movie? Deh!! all of ur answers are wrong.. you'll never guess it............................... it was "The Tigger Movie". waahh.. anti-climax huh. we thought we would be watching like "Sinking of Japan" or "WTC" at least.. something updated. it really killed half of out enthusiasm lor. for 1, I dislike cartoons. for 2, the cartoon is so outdated. for 3, I don't like Winnie the pooh characters at all.

well, it's free and it's for team building. so please stop your self centred complaints 周老师！

had a great nap and woke up to meet bumming maria first before meeting up with the rest.

been having a great urge to cut my hair..short. but was busy and all.. finally. I happened to walk past Haru Scene at Far East Plaza and remembered my hair stylist, Kenji. Only went there once and thought he was not bad la..

for once I was super decisive. i went in and chopped off my goldi-locks.

and would like to dedicate it to myself too.. nodded my head in disbelief at how apt this poem was at describing me. I'm guilty of it all the time. I know it. But more often than not, for whatever lame reasons, I still make the same baka mistakes.. over and over. And best of all, I ask myself why? why must it always be me?

my new tvb idol - Chan Kin Fung a.ka. Sammul Chan a.k.a. 陈键锋! he's really kawaii.. agree??? *everyone nods furiously in agreement*

had been engrossed watching "When rules turn loose"(what a bad title!!) a.k.a. 《识法代言人》(original always sounds better... what are the translators doing?!) recently. am going finish it up later on! 4 more episodes.. heh.

he's starring as a righteous, boyish, compassionate lawyer..though i thought he could have gotten a better name in the show. he's called Dick...ewww. of all names...

but he's super dupa sweet to the girl he likes in the show and the stuff he did drove me to tears everytime!! stop it dick!.. man like you don't exist! or already extinct like the dodos.. really. unbelieveably nice and bonus! he's got a great sense of humour too.

this is the lucky gal in the show. she's good too.. i like her. but of course, my Kin Fung comes first!

it was k-lunch day today and invited my dad along too! my treat ma..so everyone took the chance to sponge on me!!! hrmph. sighz..is there no genuine relationships around anymore...hah

besides my bro who occasionally sang exceptionally loudly when he can't reach all the high pitched parts for jay's songs (errr..actually any song), really gotta commend my dad and myself for singing so well. ahem. ya.. my dad sang all those uncle-fied hokkien songs which i get wrinkles just by listening to the intro of the song. but it was still quite fun! i mean gorging on bentos and singing at the same time.... what can be more fun than that right.

sunday is ending soon... i foresee a busy week ahead with results processing day, meet the parents day, p1 orientation, eve's wedding and what not. and I've just confirmed a trek on sunday with zhen! cool.. time to get some exercise for me.

ya..she complained the last post was a depressing depiction of our trip coz of the passport expiry thingy. eh.. but it DID happened.. didn't it? so. it's now part of my trip's memory.. an impressionable one at that.

there's nothing in KL actually. no scenery also. wanted more to get my mind off things than anything else. yup..the pics were actually taken out of boredom...haha. half a day in KL is enough to bore you! and definitely me. heh. didn't shop alot also, which is good. hmm.

i thought it was pretty relaxing just to sit in the coach listening to my mp3 and looking at the moving images outside the window and when I get tired, just close my eyes and sleep... i love sleeping on moving vehicles like buses, cars. (excluding ferries)

had a nice lunch in alf's place today and met up with some of my oc colleagues. just chatting and pigging out, not forgetting a mega photo taking session. heh. didn't bring my cam so guess i'll wait patiently for owners to upload them.

gonna eat my subway which i've been always craving for. school food is really dam oily lor. I ate char kway tiao yesterday which left me guilt-strickened. nope. i didn't do anything about it.. went straight home and slept! haha. not much choices in school besides fried noodles or mixed veg rice. sian. when i saved enuff money, i might think of franchising subway and open one in hougang! yeah.

brought my p6 pupils to the comp lab just now and they were simply exhilarated. one malay boy closed his eyes, kissed his fingers and stretched out his hands as if thanking god...letting out a shout of "yess!!", which sounded as if he just scored a penalty shot in soccer after full time.

surprisingly how time flies when one is using the computer..was happy that I could steal that bit of time to revise some of my jap..ya! wanna aim to speak better than the tour guide on my coming trip! haha... like real..ganbatte!!

It was bloody noisy. the word "noise" was sprouting out from every corner of the classroom.

I looked around trying to detect where on earth the bulk of the pollution was coming from. But all the little groups seemed okay.. as in not overly noisy. But when their powers combined (the chattering powers of 45 kids.... at the same time!!), it was simply chaotic.. the chattering and giggling and just looking at their relentless movement of their lips, I was sent into a state of insanity, coupled with pricking headache and beads of perspiration flowing down my temple.

I sank down at my chair in office, happy to enjoy the aircon and shelter from PSI: ∞

great that the weekend is finally round the corner and my tuition has finally came to a stop..till mid dec.. yeah. means no $$ coming in.. shucks.! whatever..still happy to get out of the routine for a while.

Wanted to scrape the idea of blogging totally actually until I realised that blogging has became an addiction.. omg! heh.

Found it impossible to blog anymore on my old site. I've been secretly browsing the archives of my own posts (yup yup..I can't help it ok....) and that's super hazardous to my health I realised. So.... -_-

I've been craving for mochis recently ..those with red bean paste fillings.. so that becomes my inspiration for the name of my new blog.! yeah. I love azuki mochis!!

Site still under construction though and I'm still looking for a nicer template. I chose this one coz the bubbles, I thought, resembles the shape of mochis..err... but the truth is that I totally hate it. haha.
