The highlight of the day had to be our kena-ka3 cab fare from tebrau to citysquare. There was a whole row of cabs lining up just outside tebrau and we wanted to get onto the usual red cab. The cab driver waved to us and gestured for us to get onto the blue cab instead. We should have questioned but guess we were too tired to play investigators here. We hopped on and as he drove off, we noticed that the starting fare was 6RM instead of the usual 3RM. The cabby then said his was an executive cab so more ex. Thinking that it applies only to the starting fare, we thought the increase was still acceptable. As we were nearing citysquare, we glanced and the fare had ballooned to 28RM!!! That's like double of what we paid to tebrau which was only 15RM. The uncle promised a discount later. When we reached, the fare was 33.20RM. We asked for a discount and he replied..."okay la... 33RM. " "what discount is this uncle?" we lazily asked as we were abit resigned to our fate at that time already. He was insistent and we told him we'll pay him 30RM, that's it and that was the deal.
Andrea was mad whenever reminded of this stupid episode. So dun remind her. I was too tired to remember to get angry. Just wanted to warn you of these dangerous blue executive cabs.
