as u can tell, i will really become a mochi soon. I mean shape of a mochi. been eating too much recently...again. There's a chinese saying which i always console myself after the binge.. Can eat is fortune aka..neng chi shi fu. yep. heck la...just whack...whole of chomp chomp!
met up with the south african gang for dinner. the hokkien mee tasted extremely good. for those who not experienced, only order the Ah Hock Hokkien mee right at the end of the right row of stalls. The Q is long but definitely worth the wait. They hokkien mee they serve is those with bee hoon more than the yellow mee.. so it's real oishii. Sweet potato leaves is a must -order dish there too. Would recommend "Lucy" for the BBQ food.
Dessert was at Ice3. nice cosy (??!) place to ease that sweet tooth after dinner. We ordered a cookies and cream mudpie... 4 of us only ordered 1 mudpie. amazing. but spreading out fats is food. heh.
On our way back, we heard soft whinings and peeped into a box which contained 4 cute newly born pups!! a couple with a pet-shop owner..err..we guessed la..not sure who he is but he had like all the equipment and was teaching the couple how to take care of these pups. their eyes were still closed and their umblical cord was still attached. heard from the couple they found the pups abandoned in a camp and 4 other pups were already dead when they found it.
Never seen newly born pups in my life before!!! They're so cute..!!! I want one too.
