the never ending trek started at 1.30pm at McRitchie. decided that had to do some exercise to work off all that bak kwa n pineapple tarts.. been leading a sedentary lifestyle ever since my lasik. time to 1234...2234...3234..
my 3rd time at the mcritchie..and it's a wonder how i managed to take a different route out to our starting point each time. this time was the worst i think.. we walked right into singapore island country club. were told we are in pte property and gotta walk straight ahead heading to lornie road expressway which will take us back to mcritchie.
It was 4.30pm..our legs were wobbly...okay..MY legs were wobbly and evil shit was regretting to go with my exciting idea of trekking on CNY day3. we walked...aruite...aruite... at 5pm, we were still in the golf course.. reached the main road at 5.15pm. surveying where we were, we realised we were already near adam road bukit timah area! As if it was the only and most sane decision, we both headed to the nearest bus stop. we were 4 bus stops away from the reservoir lor. thank god we didn't decide to aruite back........... dabao loads of food from adam road hawker and feasted like mad.. life was apparently so good that I never had a hunger pang in a long while. ha.
Ended the day with Kungfu Dunk which evil shit was so against watching but I guess he didn't have much choice with a jay fanatic here. heh. but it was not bad.. still prefer shaolin soccer though. jay is so funny.. usual bochup sheepish way of acting. i like!
